The Forgotten Dream Project Benefit Concert provides micro grants to women who are ready to take the first step towards fulfilling a long forgotten dream, providing hope when perhaps all seems lost.

To many of her music colleagues in Hollywood, Lisbeth Scott is known as “the vocalist who
made John Williams and Stephen Spielberg cry.” To her fans she is known as “the voice of
an angel” and the vocalist who is world-renowned for seven Oscar®-nominated film scores.

To her friends and those who know her best, she is a positive force who grew up with a
mother who had severe mental illness and a complicated and absent father. After spending
more than $220,000 on therapy and healing modalities, Lisbeth began to find clarity about herself and her family, realizing that one element of her mother’s mental illness grew out of the hopelessness of abandoning her own dreams of pursuing an acting career.

Lisbeth was witness and survivor of the chaos that ensued. Consequently, Lisbeth forgot her own dreams until one fateful day when she was 22, an acquaintance heard her humming and commented on the power of her voice. She knew this was her path and began the journey of literally finding her voice and shifting the destructive family pattern from which she came.

After making a name for herself in the film and music world, Lisbeth founded The
Forgotten Dream Project to help women who are experiencing challenges, remember the dreams they forgot. Her organization provides micro grants to women 18 and up (no age limit) who are ready to take the first step towards fulfilling a long forgotten dream,
providing hope when perhaps all seems lost.

“We seek to inspire women in the midst of struggle to keep believing in themselves and the possibilities of life,” says Lisbeth. An advisory board of 20 gifted and passionate women from all walks of life participate in the selection process.

The Benefit is on June 18, 7-10pm at Kula, 1231 Lincoln Blvd., Santa Monica, CA with $20 online at www.hopisathing.com or $25 at the door.
