No sooner than Arnold Schwarzenegger’s revelation that he wouldn’t be acting for a while (if not longer) was still warm off the email, his various projects were being buried, abandoned or warehoused.
“At the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger, we asked Creative Artists Agency to inform all his motion picture projects currently underway or being negotiated to stop planning until further notice,” Schwarzenegger’s attorney, Patrick Knapp said yesterday. “Gov. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. This includes Cry Macho, the Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Gov. Schwarzenegger decides.”
Those in power are likely awaiting more dropping shoes (and the public’s short memory) before money gets thrown back into the Schwarzenegger entertainment machine.
