It’s into the cooler for Lindsay Lohan for the next four months (we think) after the actress pleaded no contest Wednesday to stealing a necklace from a Los Angeles area jewelry store in January of 2011.
Lohan, who was not in court, entered the plea through her lawyer in exchange for a reduced misdemeanor theft charge.
The actress is scheduled to report to the slammer on or before June 17th to serve 120 days along with an additional sentence of 480 hours of community service. Plus, Lohan will be required to complete psychological counseling along with an anti-shoplifting program.
The question is how long will Lohan actually be locked up – if at all? Her attorney told the court that Lohan expected to be approved to serve her sentence in her home under house arrest or by electronic monitoring.
Either way, it’s unlikely that Lohan will complete the full 120 days. Due to jail overcrowding and of course time off for good behavior, the actress will probably get cut loose early.
Lindsay Lohan needs to be sentenced to JAIL. Not “jail with a strong possibility of house arrest.” Just cold hard JAIL. Period.
