Blake Shelton is a Country Music superstar who didn’t need an extra gig judging a reality show like The Voice (Tuesdays, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, NBC). In fact, at first he said no to the project.
The producers convinced him to take part on The Voice for a number of reasons, most importantly to find that special performer with a golden set of pipes. And, like most Country Music performers, Shelton relished the idea of a duo or group hooking up because of the competition.
Shelton’s not quite sure how he’ll manage his duties for the show, his busy music career and fans, but he’ll work it out, he says in the video below.
Still, things have got to be nuttier than ever now considering Shelton is reportedly scheduled to marry his sweetheart this weekend, Country Music headliner Miranda Lambert.
