Kim Kardashian’s personal life may be in shambles, but she’s making sure her acting career isn’t.
Life & Style has exclusively learned that Kardashian hired Nicole Kidman‘s acting coach, Susan Batson, to help her with scenes for Tyler Perry‘s movie The Marriage Counselor, which she filmed in Atlanta last week.
“Susan was brought in to help Kim with her last scenes in the film,” an insider tells Life & Style. “She was coaching her on how to handle the more difficult scenes she’s shooting.”
Life & Style reports in the current issue, on newsstands now, that Kardashian has struggled with backlash from angered fans since filing for divorce from Kris Humphries; some even campaigned to have her kicked off the film.
“Kim had been confident about the movie, but with recent events she has been worried that the stress of her real life would show through,” the insider tells Life & Style. “So that’s what Susan was there for.”
Batson is famous for her A-list clientele, which, aside from Kidman, includes Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez, Liv Tyler and Jennifer Connelly.
The Marriage Counselor is about a relationship expert named Judith who cheats on her husband. Kardashian is set to play the role of Ava, the co-worker of Judith who gives her a makeover. The movie is currently in production and also stars Brandy Norwood and Jerry Stiller.
