Jill Wagner is making the transition back to acting after hosting the wacky game show Wipeout since 2008. Still, she’s pleased that the series has been picked up by Tru TV for another round of airings.

“I definitely think it’s a good place for it. I know that it’s a growing network. Wipeout is pretty much their first acquisition and [Tru TV will benefit] just because of the demographics they’re going to acquire because of this,” she points out.

Wagner has been doing double-duty this year starring on MTV’s supernatural thriller Teen Wolf and hosting Wipeout. Now, since announcing her exit from Wipeout, the actress is back banging on production doors…with a bit of professional help.

“I’m hustling,” she acknowledges. “I just got through with a lot of meetings and I am definitely in the swing of things. I got an agent for the first time, which is odd because I never really had an agent before.”

Though that seems unfathomable, the Wagner insists an agent really wasn’t necessary for her until now.

“I was very proactive about my career and I was out there,” she points out. “I think this is really going to help me a lot with having a really good agent this time and see where I can go with that. I’m ready ‘cause I’ve worked! I put in the man-hours, now I just need somebody to believe in me.”

Her first pro gig was working with Ashton Kutcher on his jokester reality series Punk’d and because of that experience, Wagner is confident that Kutcher will be a great addition to the cast of Two and a Half Men now that Charlie Sheen has been booted off the sitcom.

“I don’t think they could have made a better choice,” she gushes. “I think it’s going to add a whole, new dimension to the show. He’s got like 10-20-million people now following him on Twitter. So, I think that it works both ways. He’s going to be great for the show and the show’s going to be great for him. They can’t go wrong. I’m so happy for him. I have nothing but love for Ashton.”

Wipeout rebroadcasts Fridays, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET on Tru TV.

Teen Wolf airs Mondays, 10:00 p.m. ET on MTV.
