Madea’s Big Happy Family is another installment in the Madea franchise from Filmmaker Tyler Perry. This time the gender-bender comedy has Madea (Tyler Perry) jumping into action to help her niece Shirley (Loretta Devine) after she gets some distressing health news.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader continues the Narnia stories involving the Pevenzie children. This newest installment features Lucy Pevensie (Georgie Henley) and Edmund Pevensie (Skander Keynes) as they return to Narnia with their cousin Eustace (Will Poulter).

They meet up with Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes) for a trip across the sea aboard the royal ship The Dawn Treader. Along the way they encounter dragons, dwarves, merfolk, and a band of lost warriors before reaching the edge of the world.

Rio 3D is the story of Blu (Jesse Eisenberg), a domesticated macaw from small-town Minnesota. Blu meets the fiercely independent Jewel (Anne Hathaway) and he takes off on an adventure to Rio de Janeiro with this bird of his dreams.

Crosby (Dax Shepard), is a happy-go-lucky bachelor living in the now, on a docked boat. Julia (Erika Christensen) is the bread-winning, shot-calling lawyer, whose husband is a Mr. Mom. Each family will face their own challenges, but how they propose to deal with them is what will keep them together or tear them apart.

Detroit 1-8-7: The Complete First Season was an interesting short-lived drama about the everyday trials and tribulations of Detroit’s homicide unit. The series starred Michael Imperioli, James McDaniel, Aisha Hinds and Jon Michael Hall.
