Happy Endings is an updated version of Friends – with a bit of a raunchy edge. The chemistry between the actors was established right from the very first episode – so says series stars Eliza Coupe and Damon Wayans, Jr.
Elisha Cuthbert is also on the series and there is no mistaking the similarities in looks between Cuthbert and Coupe – and Coupe tells EntertainmentHeartbeat in the video below that she’s taken a hit at auditions because she resembles Cuthbert.
Both Wayans and Coupe have deadpan senses of humor, which Wayans learned from living with his famous – and strict dad, Damon Wayans (My Wife and Kids).
With celebrity looming large, both Wayans and Coupe have plans to party hard now that the show is gaining steam with viewers…or so they say with their tongues pushed firmly into their cheeks.
Happy Endings airs Wednesdays, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
