“So You Think You Can Dance” Winner – Melanie Moore

After a two-hour finale, Melanie Moore took the title of America’s Favorite Dancer on season eight of So You Think You Can Dance Thursday night.

Moore beat out runner-up Sasha Mallory (though both were gnarly chicks) and grabbed the hefty paycheck of $250,000.

After the show (and in the video below), the judges weighed in on Moore – and Moore reacts, of course. All the pros agreed that either of the two women was deserving of the title.

SYTYCD Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe was convinced, however, that Moore should have won – and he gained a new-found faith in America that we finally understand the nuances of dance.
